Aamir Visits Sevagram, Talks About Bapu’s Great Influence On Him
MUMBAI, (IANS) – Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan on June 23 visited Sevagram in Maharashtra for the first time and said how he has been an ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi while also underlining the Father of the Nation’s influence on him.
Sevagram, located in Maharashtra, is the place of Mahatma Gandhi’s ashram, and his residence from 1936 till his death in 1948.
After Sabarmati, Sevagram Ashram holds immense importance as it was the residence of Mahatma Gandhi.
Aamir Khan, said: “I have come for the first time to Sevagram. There is a magical energy over here. I have been a follower of Bapuji, and his thoughts had a great influence on me. I am very happy that I have come to a place where he has spent time and days. The things he had used… seeing them felt great, which I can’t express in words. It’s a wonderful place.”
The actor recently produced the successful ‘Laapataa Ladies’. The comedy-drama is directed by his ex-wife Kiran Rao. It tells the story of two young newlywed brides who get exchanged during a train ride to their husband’s homes.

Bahu ruined India. Bapu was part of Pattison. All Hindus were kicked off from Pakistan. But Muslims remained in India with bapu’s blessings. Sardar got 19 votes out of 20 for pri minister post. Still bapu made Javahar PM. So sad.

I am NOT surprised that he admired M.K.Gandhi and visited ashram. Gandhi did support and sympathized Muslims cause than others and should be called “Father of Pakisthan” not India. Pakisthan should have his photo posted in all Gove offices and call him “Quaid -e – azam” in my opinion. After all ,he was raised and supported by Muslims in his education as I was told !. Just because they opted a different and intolerant CLAN doesn’t mean they are not our ancestral and genetic brothers! This is my opinions and you dont have to agree with it.
