Sehwag Brings His Cricket Mindset To ‘Rise And Fall 2’
MUMBAI-Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is set to make his streaming debut as the host of ‘Rise and Fall Season 2’, bringing his cricketing perspective to the unpredictable reality show.
Sehwag said that, much like a cricket match, the game can change until the very end and there are no easy wins.
“Cricket has taught me one thing—no match is won before the final ball, and Rise and Fall Season 2 takes that unpredictability to another level. As a host, what excites me about this game is that there are no easy wins and no fixed positions,” Sehwag said.
The makers on September 11 unveiled the first glimpse of ‘Rise and Fall Season 2’ on social media, showing Sehwag as the new host. The promo offers a playful take on life’s ups and downs before introducing the show’s high-stakes game, where no position is permanent.
Set across the contrasting worlds of a penthouse and a basement, the game brings together 15 celebrities divided into two groups — the Rulers and the Workers. While the Rulers enjoy the privileges of the penthouse, the Workers navigate life in the basement, with every decision, alliance and move capable of changing the course of the game.
