Eminem Tells Republican Vivek Ramaswamy To Stop Rapping His Songs
WASHINGTON, DC (IANS) – American rapper Eminem’s lawyers have sent a letter to Vivek Ramaswamy, who is seeking the Republican nomination for the 2024 US presidential election, asking the latter to stop rapping his songs.
The letter, dated August 23 and sent by the rapper’s record company BMI, comes more than a week after Ramaswamy delivered an impromptu performance of “Lose Yourself”, one of Eminem’s most popular numbers, at the Iowa State Fair, reports the BBC.
The letter says the company “received a communication from” Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, objecting to the Republican’s use of his “musical compositions”.
“BMI will consider any performance of the Eminem works by the Vivek 2024 campaign from this date forward to be a material breach” of its license, it adds.
Responding to the letter, Ramaswamy’s campaign spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin, referring to an Eminem lyric, said in a statement ay: “Vivek just got on the stage and cut loose. To the American people’s chagrin, we will have to leave the rapping to the real slim shady.”
On August 28 night, Ramaswamy posted, to make light of the situation: “Will The REAL Slim Shady Please Stand Up? He didn’t just say what I think he did, did he?” he wrote.
Ramaswamy, the 38-year-old political newcomer is seen, as a rising star in the campaign following a strong performance at last week’s Republican debate, where even after saying previously he would not consider a vice presidency, he changed his mind and said he would not rule out the possibility of teaming with former President Donald Trump if the latter secured the nomination for a third time.

Now. ,he is the leading presidential candidate after Trump. he should act more presidential and stop rapping and laughing out loud like a school boy. He should counter act with one liners to silly charges like he talks like charge GPT etc by Christy and others who really have no substance and they’re trying to overcome their deficiency by accusing him to be a charge GPT- which has absolutely no meaning.

He had a season desist order from Eminem and Vivek is arguing that it is a first amendment right which are totally disagree. Copyright takes precedence over Ist Amendment rights any day. If the artist sends you a Cease and Desist . you should respect it and not try to fight it, it only devalues your principles and presidential aspirations.

Rapping Eminem’s song does not make him cool. He has nothing in common with Eminem. He is just a spoiled brat.

Ramaswamy is so immature and ignorant when it comes to politics and governance. He can regurgitate a lot like ChatGPT (as Chris Cristie pointed out in the Iowa debate) to impress people, but has no depth. He is simply pandering (like a sycophant) to Trump in the hope that he might get a cabinet position, He will NEVER be the Presdident of USA.

Vivek sounds just like the his “mentor” . After all the facts and evidence available “NOT GUILYT” and take 1 st amendment. What a nice example for our upcoming younger generation . No morals, racist remarks .just want lime light ,so to say. You may not like Christy as he is trying to tell the public the real truth about the :blind faith: in Trump. How can can people stand behind him to choose a president who has no morals .
