CHICAGO, IL – The Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA), in collaboration with the Jain Society of Metropolitan Chicago, will host its 23rd biennial Convention from July 3-6, 2025.

This marquee event, aimed at promoting unity and spiritual growth within the Jain community, is expected to draw thousands of participants from around the globe.

During a virtual meeting on August 10, attended by approximately 150 volunteers nationwide, JAINA’s First Vice President and Convention Convenor, Atul Shah, along with Co-Convenors Vipul Shah and Jignesh Jain, shared details about the program and event committee structures.

The JAINA Convention, held every two years, provides a unique platform for spiritual development, community bonding, and cultural exchange, organizers said. It unites Jains from North America and beyond, celebrating the community’s rich heritage and diverse traditions. Attendees can look forward to spiritual discourses, lectures, interactive workshops, keynote speeches by renowned speakers, and light entertainment, all designed to foster a sense of connection and personal growth.

The theme for the 2025 Convention, “Unity in Diversity: A Path to Peace,” a press release said, is “inspired by the Jain saying “Parasparopagraho Jīvānām and It underscores the community’s commitment to inclusivity, celebrating every tradition and ensuring that every voice is heard. The convention aims to showcase the rich diversity within the Jain community and demonstrate how differences can unite rather than divide, promoting a sense of shared purpose and unity.
