DALLAS, TX – Four Indian nationals tragically lost their lives in a devastating crash involving five vehicles in Anna, Texas on August 30. The victims, who had connected through a carpooling app, were en route to Bentonville, Arkansas, when their SUV was rear-ended by a speeding truck. The impact caused a fire, and the occupants were tragically burned beyond recognition.

The deceased have been identified as Aryan Raghunath Orampati, Farooq Shaik, Lokesh Palacharla, and Dharshini Vasudevan, though authorities are relying on DNA testing to confirm their identities due to the extent of the injuries.

Aryan Orampati and Farooq Shaik, both from Hyderabad, were returning from a visit to Aryan’s cousin in Dallas. Lokesh Palacharla was heading to Bentonville to reunite with his wife, while Dharshini Vasudevan, originally from Tamil Nadu and residing in Frisco, Texas, was on her way to visit her uncle.

The tragic accident highlights the dangers of road travel in the U.S., and the victims’ families, both in India and America, are left mourning their sudden and heartbreaking loss.
