TiE New Jersey Hosts Inaugural Conference Focused On AI And Entrepreneurship

ISELIN, NEW JERSEY -TiE New Jersey held its inaugural TiEcon New Jersey conference on June 13, drawing a sold-out audience to the APA Hotel Woodbridge.

Held under the theme “Leading the Intelligence Revolution: Garden State to Global Stage,” the event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, policymakers and innovators to discuss developments in artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.

The conference featured 24 speakers, three keynote sessions, four industry panels, a startup showcase, and a fireside chat and book discussion with TiE co-founder Kanwal Rekhi.

Dr. Dale G. Caldwell, Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey, delivered a keynote address focused on leadership, innovation and the future of economic growth in the state.

Discussions covered artificial intelligence, fintech, life sciences and venture investing, while highlighting New Jersey’s growing role as a center for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Diya Mathews, President of TiE New Jersey, said the event exceeded expectations.

“TiEcon NJ 2026 is a powerful reminder of what happens when entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and community leaders come together with purpose,” Mathews said, adding that the conference reflected a shared commitment to helping founders scale their businesses and create impact.

Badri Nittoor, a TiE New Jersey board member and TiEcon conference convenor, said the event demonstrated the depth of talent and opportunity in the state. “We set out to show that New Jersey can lead the intelligence revolution, and a sold-out room made it clear this community is ready,” Nittoor said.
