Vikas Khanna Teams Up With CookUnity To Bring Indian Flavors To US Diners

NEW YORK, NY- Vikas Khanna has joined the chef-led meal delivery platform CookUnity, bringing a menu inspired by his New York restaurant Bungalow and the flavors of his hometown, Amritsar, to subscribers across parts of the United States.

Khanna said the partnership was driven by CookUnity’s focus on ingredient quality and careful preparation.

“When I first stepped into the CookUnity kitchens, I saw the same level of care and attention that we value at Bungalow,” Khanna said. “We share the same commitment to sourcing ingredients and paying attention to every detail. That made it the right time to partner and bring our food to people wherever they are.”

His debut menu features dishes rooted in Indian regional cooking, including roasted butter chicken inspired by his Chicken Amritsari recipe, paneer makhani, aloo gobi and Kerala-style fish moilee. According to the company, the selection reflects both familiar Indian comfort food and the cooking style that has made Bungalow one of New York City’s most talked-about restaurants.

CookUnity announced Khanna’s arrival alongside two other acclaimed chefs – James Beard Award-winning Italian-American chef Rocco DiSpirito and celebrated Israeli-American chef Michael Solomonov.

CookUnity said the three chefs have created exclusive menus inspired by their signature restaurants, adapting their cooking for home delivery while maintaining quality. Founded in 2015, the chef-led meal platform now works with more than 130 chefs, including James Beard Award winners and Michelin-starred chefs, serving over 250,000 customers each week.

CEO and co-founder Mateo Marietti said the additions reflect the company’s mission of helping acclaimed chefs reach diners beyond their restaurants. The new menus are available to subscribers in 18 US states, with further expansion planned in early 2027.
