Ranveer Singh Back On Sets After Non-Cooperation Directive Is Lifted

MUMBAI- Ranveer Singh has commenced shooting for his forthcoming project ‘Pralay’ in Mumbai.

‘Pralay’ marks Ranveer’s first project after the Non-Cooperation Directive imposed on him by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) was lifted.

In May, FWICE issued the directive against Ranveer following his abrupt exit from Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’. Under it, more than four lakh film workers were instructed not to work with the actor.

The decision to revoke it came after the federation faced pressure from the industry, while Ranveer had also sent a notice to FWICE.

‘Pralay’ is touted as a zombie apocalypse thriller and stars ‘Lokah’ fame actress Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leading lady.

Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, ‘Pralay’ follows a fight for survival against the terrifying possibility of an end-of-the-world catastrophe, with its characters battling to protect what matters most.

The shoot is taking place at live locations in and around Mumbai, with the makers reportedly seeking to capture the physicality and unpredictability of real-world environments. (IANS)
