WASHINGTON, DC – President Donald Trump’s nominee for director of national intelligence, and a former Democratic representative, Tulsi Gabbard, has disclosed a significant fortune in her recent personal financial disclosure report, ABC News reported. Her wealth spans real estate holdings, stock investments, and income from media engagements targeting Republican audiences.
Gabbard owns three apartment complexes in Texas—located in Katy, Stafford, and Austin—valued between $55 million and $125 million, according to the filing. Additionally, she reported owning stock worth $100,001 to $250,000 in Tesla and Rumble, along with shares in Apple and artificial intelligence company Nvidia Corp.
The disclosure also revealed her cryptocurrency investments, including $50,000 in a Bitcoin ETF trust and up to $95,000 in various digital assets. This includes $1,001 to $15,000 in Solana, the blockchain platform tied to the Trump meme coin. Gabbard stated in her ethics agreement that she plans to divest these stocks and assets upon confirmation, ABC News noted.
In total, Gabbard reported a net worth ranging from $55 million to $127 million. This figure includes a $250,001 to $500,000 mortgage on her personal residence. Over the past year, she earned $1.2 million, primarily from media engagements, speaking fees, and her book advance.
Her financial report highlights how lucrative her political shift from Democrat to Republican has been said ABC News. Gabbard earned $199,500 as a Fox News contributor and $119,370 from a show hosted by former Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow. She also received speaking fees from events organized by Republican Party committees, a Libertarian Party chapter, and the Heritage Foundation.
Gabbard’s media company, Tulsi Media LLC, generated $373,872 in business income, while her book “For Love of Country” brought in a $297,500 advance. She also earned $10,000 from consulting with Minnect LLC and additional revenue from podcast and social media advertisements.
