India-West Staff Reporter
BROOKLYN, NY – Brooklyn Children’s Museum (BCM) will host its annual Celebrate Holi festival on Saturday, May 3, inviting families for a colorful day filled with dance, art, food, and fun. Co-presented with Ajna Dance Company and The Culture Tree, this vibrant event honors Holi, the Indian festival of color that marks the arrival of spring and celebrates joy, unity, and renewal.
Known for its lively atmosphere, Celebrate Holi features interactive Bollywood dance workshops, hands-on art and STEM activities, traditional food tastings, puppet shows, and a outdoor color powder celebration in Brower Park. Attendees are encouraged to wear white for the full splash of color!
The festival runs across three timed sessions—10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm—with each offering the same lineup of engaging activities. Indian American cultural leaders and community partners emphasize the event’s goal of inclusion and cultural appreciation.
Tickets are $15 and free for children under one. Families from across the Tri-state area are expected to attend. To learn more or purchase tickets, visit www.brooklynkids.org/holi.
