Devoleena Goes To Court To Fight Racism After Trolls Attack Son
MUMBAI- Devoleena Bhattacharjee is taking legal action after her infant son, Joy, was targeted with racist comments on social media. The television actress has filed a cybercrime case and provided screenshots of the hateful remarks to the police.
Bhattacharjee, who is a well-known celebrity, stated that while she has learned to handle criticism about her career and personal life, she will not tolerate her child being subjected to such an attack.
“My silence was taken for granted when such trolls couldn’t stop themselves and tried to target my young baby, Joy,” she said. She added that she has faith her son will grow up to be strong enough to handle such situations.
The actress is determined to see the case through to the end. “I have taken a legal route and will make sure no one is forgiven,” she stated, adding that she wants to ensure other parents and children don’t have to go through a similar experience. She also expressed gratitude to the cybercrime division for their help, noting that while many of the accounts responsible for the comments have been deleted, they will still be traced.
Bhattacharjee married her gym trainer, Shanwaz Shaikh, in December 2022. The couple welcomed their son, Joy, in December 2024.

There are plenty of people who are racist and do not like dark color babies and even humans! I am not sure what legal action can do but it is best to ignore those stupid/racist people and go on with your own life rather than legitimizing them because they will never change.
