Estée Lauder Appoints Shrivastava As Executive VP And CFO

NEW YORK, NY – Estée Lauder Companies has announced the appointment of Akhil Shrivastava as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective November 1, 2024.

As CFO, he will oversee the company’s global finance, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, and new business development organizations. Additionally, he will lead ELC’s global finance & strategy team, focusing on driving sustainable value creation and strategic business objectives.

Shrivastava joined ELC in 2015 and has held several senior finance roles, including his most recent position as senior vice president, treasurer. In this role, he was responsible for core treasury functions, the enterprise risk program, real estate, and oversight of the company’s retirement funds. His initial position at ELC was vice president, global finance & strategy for the Estée Lauder brand.

Before joining The Estée Lauder Companies, Shrivastava spent eighteen years at Procter & Gamble, where he held several finance and leadership roles across Asia, North America, and global businesses, including finance director for Gillette, North America.

Shrivastava holds an engineering degree from Engineering College in Rewa, India, and a master’s degree in finance and control from Delhi University.
