Hrithik Recalls The Making Of The ‘Bhaag Arjun Bhaag’ Moment
MUMBAI (ANI) – Hrithik Roshan recently shared a nostalgic memory from the making of the iconic 1995 film Karan Arjun, as the beloved action-drama prepares for its re-release in theaters on November 22. This re-release marks a significant moment for fans, as Hrithik, then just 17, worked as an assistant director under his father, director Rakesh Roshan.
Recalling a pivotal moment from 1992, Hrithik described how he, his father, and the film’s writers were working on the screenplay at home. After hours of contemplation, Rakesh Roshan suddenly broke the silence with a moment of inspiration that led to one of Indian cinema’s most iconic lines. Envisioning the film’s climactic fight, Rakesh shouted, “Bhaag Arjun Bhaag!” The dialogue, which became a symbol of the film’s epic storytelling, left a deep impression on Hrithik.
“My hair stood on end; the room was applauding like in a movie theater! And I was addicted from that day onwards,” Hrithik recalled, reliving the electrifying moment that captured the spirit of Karan Arjun. This experience would later shape his own journey in Bollywood, as he became a star in his father’s 2000 directorial hit, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.
Karan Arjun, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, is an action-packed drama blending themes of reincarnation, family loyalty, and revenge. The film follows two brothers reborn to avenge their past lives, and it’s celebrated for its legendary on-screen pairing. “Even after 30 years, I’m eagerly awaiting its return to the big screen. Karan Arjun is where it all began for me,” Hrithik shared.
Meanwhile, Hrithik is currently filming War 2, the sequel to the 2019 hit War, keeping fans eager for his next action-packed performance.
