Kal Penn Films Scene At Pride Parade

HOLLYWOOD, CA – Actor Kal Penn and Abbie Cornish immersed themselves in their roles while filming a scene at the 2024 WeHo Pride Parade on June 2, here.

JustJared.com said the 47-year-old actor recreated Anna Nicole Smith’s 2005 WeHo Pride Parade appearance for the upcoming movie, “Trust Me, I’m a Doctor.”

Kal Penn will portray Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Anna Nicole Smith’s doctor, in the film, which is based on Kapoor’s 2017 book of the same name. Abbie Cornish will take on the role of Anna Nicole Smith.

The actor shared a couple of photos on social media from the filming, noting that it was their last day in the movie.

“Trust Me, I’m a Doctor,” centers on Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, whose life is turned upside down when he is implicated in the death of his former patient—model, actress, and reality TV star, Anna Nicole Smith.
