Kamala Harris Breaks Silence: I Told You So

LOS ANGELES, CA – In a rare public appearance since her 2024 election loss, former Vice President Kamala Harris addressed the sense of unease gripping the country—hinting at vindication and signaling she’s not stepping away from public life.

“There’s a lot of fear right now,” Harris told a packed audience at the Leading Women Defined summit in California on April 4. “There were many things that we knew would happen—many things.”

With a knowing smile and a pause that drew laughter from the crowd, she added, “I’m not here to say, ‘I told you so.’ I swore I wasn’t going to say that.”

But Harris’s message was unmistakable: her voice remains active, and her political future is far from over. “I’m not going anywhere,” she said.

Though she didn’t name President Donald Trump directly, the context was clear. The former senator from California—who served as vice president under Joe Biden—has largely stayed out of the spotlight since the election but is widely rumored to be considering a 2026 run for California governor.

  • Kamala Harris remained a formidable candidate California’s Chief Executive office. She ran an honorable campaign for the White House. The campaign period was too short for the national office and running against a cabal of congenital liars was not easy.
