Kamala Harris, Doug Emhoff Buy $8 Million Malibu Home

LOS ANGELES, CA – Former Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, have purchased a new home in Malibu, adding to their growing real estate holdings, several media reports say.

The couple paid $8.15 million for the property, located in the exclusive Point Dume neighborhood. The area has faced past wildfire damage, notably during the 2018 Woolsey Fire and, more recently, the 2025 Palisades Fire.

Point Dume is known for its scenic surfing beaches and high-profile residents, including Johnny Carson, whose former estate recently listed for $110 million. Several Hollywood celebrities live in the area.

The Harris-Emhoff three-quarter-acre property, built in 1979, spans roughly 4,000 square feet with four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

The couple already owns a 3,500-square-foot home in Brentwood, purchased by Emhoff in 2012.
