BENGALURU – King Charles and his wife Queen Camilla made a brief stopover in Karnataka following their recent trip to Australia and Samoa, Buckingham Palace confirmed on October 30.
They are at the Soukya International Holistic Health Center, where they enjoyed yoga and meditation sessions.
Charles, 75, had previously been diagnosed with cancer. A royal source told Reuters the stopover was not connected to his ongoing health issues, but was to allow him to rest.
Charles, who has long advocated alternative medicines and therapies, has paid many visits to India and to the Soukya center itself before.
Soukya ‘s 30 acre organic farm is a holistic health destination center that integrates different traditional, time-tested and natural systems of medicine.
