Maha Kumbh: In 14 Days, 110 Million Take Holy Dip At Sangam

PRAYAGRAJ (ANI)- The Maha Kumbh, which began on January 13 with the auspicious Paush Purnima, has seen an extraordinary turnout, with over 110 million devotees taking a holy dip in the sacred waters of Prayagraj in the first 14 days.

The Maha Kumbh, held every 12 years, is expected to draw over 450 million visitors during its run from January 13 to February 26. Pilgrims gather at the Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the now-extinct Saraswati rivers—to take the holy dip, believed to absolve sins and grant moksha (liberation).
