Meghna Shares Rare Image With Parents Rakhee & Gulzar

MUMBAI, (ANI) – Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar delighted fans by sharing a photo of her parents, Rakhee and Gulzar. The family is seen enjoying evening snacks amid the Mumbai monsoon.

The director captioned the family moments and wrote, “Samose, chai aur baarish. Bliss! (Samosas, tea, and rain…Bliss).” This is one of those rare moments when Meghna treated fans with a picture of her parents together.

Actor Vikrant Massey responded with heart and evil eye emojis, while singer Rekha Bhardwaj commented, “Mashallah.”

Back in 2020, as Gulzar turned 86, Meghna had penned an endearing note for her father, which read, “I know I’m protected because his arms cradle me. I know I am walking the right path, because his little finger leads me. He dabbles in celluloid. So, I know I can see. I know I can write because his ink flows in me. I know I can. because he believes. I know I am because he is.”

Meghna Gulzar is known for directing critically acclaimed films like ‘Talvar’, ‘Filhaal’, ‘Just Married’ and many more. She also directed the 2018 hit ‘Raazi.’
