
Modi Calls Musk Amid Ongoing Trade Talks

NEW DELHI- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and DOGE head Elon Musk spoke on potential India-US collaboration in technology and innovation, amidst ongoing trade negotiations between the two nations.
In a recent social media post, Modi revealed that he and Musk, who heads Tesla, SpaceX, and X, revisited topics from their earlier meeting in Washington, focusing on the “immense potential” for joint ventures.
Notably, the BBC pointed out, the phone call preceded Vice-President JD Vance’s upcoming visit to India.
Musk’s companies are actively pursuing entry into the Indian market. Starlink recently partnered with major Indian telecom firms to introduce satellite internet services and is awaiting regulatory approval. Meanwhile, Tesla has begun recruiting for various roles in Delhi and Mumbai.
