Peace Center Of Los Angeles Holds 10th Annual Health Seminar

ORANGE, CA — The Peace Center of Los Angeles hosted its 10th Annual Health & Wellness Seminar, themed “Healthy Heart & Peaceful Life,” on July 19, at Tandoor Cuisine of India here, drawing approximately 100 attendees. The event was held in memory of longtime supporter Ramesh Ramnani.
The seminar opened with a welcome from Chair Ashok Madan, followed by cultural performances, including a Ganesh Stuti dance by Natyashetra Dance School students. Founder Ila Mehta highlighted the organization’s mission, emphasizing its focus on community wellness.
Medical professionals presented on heart health, sharing evidence-based guidance and practical strategies for maintaining wellness. The seminar also recognized youth leaders promoting heart health awareness.

A fundraising segment collected over $1,000 in donations, reflecting community support for health initiatives. Official proclamations from Artesia Councilwoman Zeel Ahir and Mayor Ali Sajjad Taj honored contributors including Ashok Madan, Dr. Jayesh Shah, Capt. Aparna Hande, and Kewal Kanda for their service to wellness and public health.
The evening concluded with a tribute to Ramesh Ramnani, featuring speeches by community leaders and a classical dance performance by Dhoon Academy. Attendees left with the seminar’s guiding message: “A healthy heart begins with a peaceful life.”
