Pritam Hails Aditya Roy Kapur’s Singing Debut In ‘Metro… In Dino’
MUMBAI (ANI) – Aditya Roy Kapur, known for his memorable performances in Aashiqui 2 and The Night Manager, is now adding another talent to his repertoire: singing. In the upcoming film Metro… In Dino, Kapur lends his voice to several songs on the soundtrack, surprising fans with his vocal skills.
Speaking about the track “Zamaana Lage” from the film, composer Pritam revealed, “In this film, the songs picturized on Adi have actually been sung by him. He’s sounding amazing.” This unexpected move has ramped up excitement for the film’s ten-song album.
For Kapur, this project is close to his heart. “It’s very special for me. I was a big fan of Life in a… Metro, and I feel absolutely honoured to be part of this film,” he shared. He also reflected on how singing brings a deeper layer to his performance: “Shooting a song while actually having sung it adds so much depth. The lyrics help carry the story forward, and it changes the entire experience.”
The first released track, “Zamaana Lage,” sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh with lyrics by Qaisar Ul Jafri and Sandeep Shrivastava, captures the complexities of modern relationships in an urban setting.
Metro… In Dino marks the final chapter in director Anurag Basu’s anthology of interconnected stories, following Life in a… Metro and Ludo. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and featuring music by the celebrated Pritam-Anurag Basu duo, the film explores love, loneliness, and connection in today’s fast-paced world.

It is sad that India West gives so much space and attention to film actors. It defies wisdom and common sense. There are so many other important issues out there, sich as: POOR CHILDREN’S EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES; WIDE AVAILABILITY OF INTERNET; POPULATION EXPLOSION AND ITS CONTROL, ETC.
