WASHINGTON, DC – On October 1, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley revealed that the Trump campaign had delivered a birdcage and bird food to her hotel room, just a day after the former President had referred to her as “birdbrain.”
Haley shared a photo featuring a birdcage alongside a sizable bag of bird food, both adorned with a conspicuous “From: Trump Campaign” label. She captioned her post, saying, “After a day of campaigning, this is the message waiting for me at my hotel room… #PrettyPatheticTryAgain #YouJustMadeMyCaseForMe.”
This incident unfolded against the backdrop of Trump’s renewed focus on targeting Haley, who had previously served as his ambassador to the United Nations and as the former governor of South Carolina, The Hill commented in its report on the incident. Haley’s standing in the GOP presidential field had been steadily rising, thanks in part to her strong performances in the GOP debates.
Trump had bestowed upon Haley the moniker “birdbrain” in a previous post, recounting her past statements and concluding that she lacked the requisite “TALENT or TEMPERAMENT” for the job, punctuating his remarks with “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Responding to this attack on September 29 via X, Haley interpreted it as a sign of her campaign’s momentum, stating, “Love this. It means we are in 2nd and moving up fast. Bring it!”

This is the beginning of the end of her campaign..There’s absolutely no potential for this person to hold any office, since Trump or Ramaswamy will touch her with the 10-ft barge pole. Apart from low intellect she is Anti- Indian and Pro Chinese.

For the sake of full disclosure, I must announce that I am not a Republican Party member. As an observer of most Republican Party debates in the past and present, I consider Nikki Haley, a class act. She won both debates hands down. Only a dinosaur (Trump) would classify her as a “birdbrain.”
