Venezuela Developments A Matter OF Concern For India: Jaishankar
LUXEMBOURG– In his first remarks on the current situation, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said that India is concerned over the recent developments in Venezuela following the US “capture” of President Nicolas Maduro.
The EAM urged all parties involved to prioritize the safety and well-being of the Venezuelan people amid the ongoing crisis.
“We are concerned at the developments, but we would really urge all the parties involved to now sit down and sort of come to a position which is in the interest of the well-being and the safety of the people of Venezuela,” EAM Jaishankar said at an event in Luxembourg.
He underlined that India’s primary concern is ensuring that the Venezuelan people emerge well from the crisis, noting the long history of good bilateral relations.
“At the end of the day, that is our concern, that we would want Venezuela, the country with whom over many, many years we’ve had very good relations, and people to come out well from whatever is the direction of events,” he added.
The crisis in Venezuela escalated after a controversial US military operation on January 3 that resulted in the capture of President Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, by US special forces in Caracas and their transfer to the United States to face criminal charges.
Maduro and Flores were flown to New York, where they appeared in a federal court in Manhattan and pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including narco-terrorism and drug trafficking. Maduro was ordered to remain in custody until his next hearing on March 17.
Appearing in court, Maduro maintained his innocence and described himself as “innocent, not guilty, and a decent man,” while asserting that he remains the legitimate President of his country.
Following Maduro’s capture, Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodriguez was sworn in as Interim President by the nation’s apex court.
Earlier, on January 4, India had also termed the recent developments in Venezuela “a matter of concern” and urged all concerned parties to address issues peacefully through dialogue, ensuring peace and stability in the region.
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said that the Embassy of India in Caracas is in contact with members of the Indian community and is providing all possible assistance. (IANS)

American Imperialism Shows its Power Against the Third World
On January 3, 2026, America both created and repeated history by launching a successful surgical military attack and abducting President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.
The Venezuela military, which had appeared ready to defend Venezuela against American imperialism, could do nothing but watch helplessly as American troops easily won a battle that Venezuela’s military lost before even fighting.
When western imperialist countries attack poor third world countries, it reminds me of a saying in Punjabi, “Bandar marna” (killing monkeys). This saying comes from the observation that sometimes a lion has bad luck and is unable to hunt deer, boar or worthy game so it makes a plan to hunt monkeys. The lion will stand under a tree full of monkeys and roar. The monkeys get so terrified upon hearing the lion’s roar that a few monkeys faint and fall out of the tree!
When America attacks a third world country, it is like watching a heavyweight MMA champion beat the crap out of a beggar. Third world countries must understand their place in the world. America, Israel and northwestern Europe take what they want, when they want. No one will come to save third world countries.
There are three truths about third world countries: It is a curse to be born in a third world country. It is a bigger curse to be born a woman or unprivileged in a third world country. The biggest curse is to be born an unprivileged woman in a third world country.
Third world countries are poor, weak and helpless. The collective west sees third world countries and their citizens as bhukey, nangey mangtey (starving, naked beggars). From time to time, America and Israel enjoy urinating on third world countries. Third world countries cannot stop being urinated on, but they can invest in umbrellas.
America accuses President Maduro of being a narcoterrorist. Terrorism against America is acceptable to the American establishment so long as the terrorists give America what it wants.
Syrian rebel leader Abu Mohammed al-Jolani was a dreaded Al Qaeda-linked Jihadist and leader of the Islamist militant group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). During the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq, he joined other foreign fighters in Iraq and, in 2005, was imprisoned at Camp Bucca, where he was introduced to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the founder and first leader of Islamic State. America placed a bounty of $10 million for Jolani’s arrest.
Jolani, who has an uncanny resemblance to Fidel Castro, changed his name to Ahmed al-Sharaa and transitioned to a successful statesman and American ally in the same way that Olympic champion and alpha male Bruce Jenner transitioned to the gorgeous woman Caitlyn Jenner.
America removed the bounty on Jolani/Sharaa in December, 2024 and welcomed him at the White House in November 2025. There is hope for President Maduro receiving a pardon since American hypocrisy knows no bounds.
Latin America is a majority Christian continent: 54% Catholic and 23% Protestant. Catholicism and Protestant Christianity are colonizer ideologies which function under the guise of organized religion to subjugate, enslave, oppress and exploit the third world.
A quote about Christianity and colonialism by Kenya’s first president Jomo Kenyatta explains this: “When the missionaries arrived, the Africans had the land and the missionaries had the Bible. They taught us how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible.”
Third world Christians (Catholics and Protestants) think that they will receive preferential treatment from the collective west because it is also majority Christian. Unfortunately, third world Christians are defined by their cowardice and are taught subservience and loyalty to their white colonizer masters.
It is ironic that although third world Christians are admirers and apologists for white colonizers, these same white colonizers have no loyalty, sympathy or consideration for third world Christians. Racist Anglo-Saxons have special terms for third world Christian Latinos: Beaners, Spics and Wetbacks.
In the future, American appeasement by third world Latin American countries is the safest bet. When America wants Venezuela’s oil, just give it to them. Unlike third world countries of Asia and Africa, Latin American countries are no match for American imperialism.
The kidnapping of President Maduro is reminiscent of Panama’s leader Manuel Antonio Noriega’s capture by America in 1989. No Latin American country could save Noriega. Fast forward 37ish years: no Latin American country could save Maduro. Nothing has really changed.
Although most of the countries of the world are condemning America’s actions, three countries have come out in support of America and have praised America: Israel, Ukraine and Argentina. President Javier Milei of Argentina said, “”freedom moves forward” and “long live freedom.”
Javier Milei is an incredible sell-out. Argentina is that country which lost its territory (Islas Malvinas) to British imperialism. In 1982, Argentina launched an invasion to reclaim its territory from the British. In just two months, the Argentinians proved to be no match for the British military and suffered a devastating defeat.
The Islas Malvinas were again renamed as Falkland Islands to forever remind Argentinians that not only did they lose the war and lose their territory, but that they got “Falked.”
If Latin American countries do want to defend themselves against American imperialism, then they must ally and import Asian and African champions into their countries. Koreans, Vietnamese, Somalis, and Afghans have all defended their countries and handed Americans humiliating defeats.
The best thing which Latin America can do if it wants to fight America is to create a quagmire situation. The Vietnam and Afghanistan wars became like quicksand for America and helped keep Americans tied down for nearly twenty years each! Keeping America tied down and wasting America’s time is the best way to weaken America and to keep other third world countries safe so that they can make progress.
In 2003, America was able to invade Iraq by lying to the world about weapons of mass destruction. America had bipartisan support and most Congressmen (296-133) and Senators (77-23) voted for the Iraq Resolution to invade Iraq. America also had the support of NATO and EU countries. In 2003, America was 68% white.
Fast forward to 2026, President Trump does not have the support of the Democrats nor the collective west regarding the abduction of President Maduro. Democrats are hypocrites and opportunists. They are not opposing Trump out of any principle or respect for international law. They are only opposing Trump on this issue for political gains. Democrats are the same people who murdered Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi under President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden.
As the white American population decreases, the brutal execution of third world leaders also decreases. Non-Hispanic whites now comprise less than 56% of America’s population due to America’s lovely policies of promoting multiculturalism and diversity: the massive influx of third world filth in order for the ruling capitalists to exploit their cheap labor and replace whites. The cherry on top of the pile of American multiculturalism and diversity dog shit is that for the first time in history, a Muslim is now mayor of New York City!
It is very emotional for many Americans that the white supremacist responsible for the Iraq war is no longer with us: former Vice-President Dick Cheney. It is also very sad that other racist whites such as former Presidents Ronald Regan and George H.W. Bush and Senator John McCain are no longer with us. Former Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter have also died and won’t be able to enjoy America’s abduction of President Maduro. I am sure that all of these leaders are together in the hereafter and are looking up at earth from that miserable hot and sulfuric place which they will reside in for eternity.
The reason that the American establishment can keep getting away with imperialist wars is the undying support of Anglo-Saxons. White Americans are the historical allies and beneficiaries of the actions of the American establishment.
In exchange for massacring Native Americans and forcing their remaining people onto reservations, white American settlers, the original illegal immigrants of America, received Native American land for free. In exchange for oppressing and enslaving Africans, white Americans profited for centuries. The first African slaves were brought to America in 1526 by Spanish explorers who settled in modern day South Carolina.
It is sick how American companies are profiting from President Maduro’s kidnapping. President Maduro was photographed wearing a Nike tracksuit while he was being abducted. That Nike tracksuit has been sold out. It is ironic that President Maduro was wearing Nike. Third world Latinos are not known for their intelligence. Nike symbolizes American imperialism and hypocrisy.
President Maduro’s Nike tracksuit reminds me of a protest which took place at my university. Latino students accused Taco Bell of cultural appropriation and protested in front of the Taco Bell on our campus. Journalists came and interviewed some of the protestors. After the journalists left, the protest was called off. The Latino protestors then went to the Taco Bell and ordered food!
Just like the Vietnam and Iraq wars, President Maduro’s abduction has caused mass outrage and protests. Peaceful protests and demonstrations do not end wars and are hardly better than doing nothing, but they are nice to see on the news and in documentaries.
Instead of just protesting, Americans who want justice for President Maduro should also learn the third world art of the hunger strike. Going on hunger strikes can be a win-win situation for obese protestors. They will protest and potentially shed a few pounds.
