Vikrant Massey Gets National Award; Wife’s Emotional Message Goes Viral

MUMBAI– Actor Vikrant Massey was honored with the National Award on September 23 for his performance in the film 12th Fail. His wife, Sheetal Thakur, shared pictures of him holding the award on social media, writing, “Just when I feel I couldn’t be more proud, you give me another reason to be. Congratulations on your first National Award. It has been my honor to be your loudest cheerleader in every room you walk in. Loads of love, Wifey.”

Massey, visibly emotional, thanked fans in a heartfelt note: “A simple thank you from the bottom of my heart would suffice. I’m grateful beyond words for your continued support in my journey. This dreamlike life is only because of you.”

Calling it the “proudest moment” of his life, he added, “It’s a dream that a 20-year-old boy once envisioned, and to see it come to fruition feels nothing short of surreal. Sharing this moment with my mother and wife is another dream I am grateful to have realized today.”

Vikrant played IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma in 12th Fail. He shared the Best Actor honor with Shah Rukh Khan, who received the award for his role in Jawan.  (IANS)
