Vivek Murthy’s Dad: Barack And Michelle Obama To Visit Karnataka
BENGALURU, (IANS) – Former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama will visit Mandya in Karnataka in December to lay the foundation stone for the International Yoga and Meditation Centre.
A delegation led by Indian American physician Dr Lakshminarasimha Murthy of the Bhutayi Trust, which is constructing the center, and others met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on August 31 and discussed with him the arrangements to be made for the visit.
Laxminarasimha Murthy is the father of Vivek Murthy, US Surgeon General appointed by President Joe Biden. Vivek Murthy held the same post in the Obama administration.
Barack and Michelle Obama and the Dalai Lama will arrive in December to lay the foundation stone of the International Yoga and Meditation Center being built by the trust at Hallegere in Mandya.
The delegation requested the government to provide facilities like a helipad, road, drains, electricity, drinking water, etc. in Hallegere.
The delegation members explained the work of the center and said that it will be a great contribution not only to Hallegere and Mandya district but to the entire state. They also explained the social work being done by the trust.

India should ban Obama to enter India for telling how it should run its affairs or “else” as he recently implied. Who the hell he is to tell India?
Specially, US with its legacy of holding human beings as slaves, discriminating against Obama’s race, black. It has mass shootings daily and everyday there is a new case of it’s police killing its own citizens and the police escaping any punishment, mostly. And he hardly did anything to improve his lot fearing the white backlash! He was simply a chicken and tried to do as little as possible. You may have heard his chef died in accident recently, news!!
India should be firm with the guys like that and tell “we’re not afraid of him, looser”! He is nobody! Is he a paid protester?
As per his theory, US may fall apart before many nations!
