The performance did more than amuse viewers. It drew rare and enthusiastic praise from the star being portrayed.

The episode in question featured the box office star Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday as celebrity guests.

Aamir Khan, reacting to the clip in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, admitted he was caught completely off guard by how real the act felt. “I won’t even call it mimicry. It was so authentic, I felt I was watching myself. I saw a small clip. Now I’m going to watch the whole episode. But what I saw was priceless. I was laughing so much I couldn’t breathe!!”
