With Appointments SF Consulate Open For Walk-In Services

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The Consulate General of India here has said that after the forced closure due to the global pandemic, it is now once again open, after getting appointments, for a few in-person services.
The press note said the reopening would be valid only for:
(i) All Attestation Services/Power of Attorney documents/NRI Certificate
(ii) Life certificates
All other services will be handled at the consulate only through regular post.
The consulate reiterated that walk-in applicants should make appointments at www.cgisf.gov.in/apt/appointment.php.
Meanwhile, Passport/Visa/OCI/Renunciation/GEP/PCC services will be continued to be handled as usual through M/S VFS Global: https://visa.vfsglobal.com/usa/en/ind/)
