Zakir Hussain, Bela Fleck, Announce India Tour

LOS ANGELES, CA (ANI) – In a celebration of classical music, the As We Speak India tour has been announced, featuring Grammy-winning icons Zakir Hussain, Rakesh Chaurasia, Bela Fleck, and Edgar Meyer.

This multi-city tour, scheduled for January 2025, will have a fusion of Indian classical music and Western jazz. The quartet’s performance will showcase their collective virtuosity, having garnered 31 prestigious Grammy Awards.

Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain expressed his excitement about returning to his homeland to perform with such incredible musicians. “This concert is a celebration of the universal language of music, exploring the common ground between Indian classical and Western jazz.”

Bela Fleck, the renowned banjo legend, shared his fascination with Indian classical music and enthusiasm for performing in India.
