Soniya Bansal Showcases Spiritually Inspired Style At Cannes
MUMBAI -Soniya Bansal, known for her appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 17’, made her debut at the 79th Cannes Film Festival with a look inspired by Radha Rani and Indian mythology.
Soniya attended the festival to represent her environmental film ‘The Last Breath’, which focuses on the impact of deforestation and the emotional and environmental consequences of tree loss.
For her Cannes appearance, the actor wore a pastel pink lehenga-saree hybrid designed by fashion designer Dolly J. The outfit featured white floral embroidery, gold detailing, and a sheer dupatta draped over her head.
She paired the ensemble with emerald and uncut diamond jewelry, traditional bangles, and alta accents on her hands. Her styling also included a peacock feather woven into her hair, referencing the symbolism associated with Lord Krishna and Radha Rani in Indian mythology.
Soniya said, “For my Cannes debut, I wanted to embody the grace and divinity of Radha Rani while proudly reflecting my Indian roots with global elegance,” she added.
Talking about the preparation behind the look, the actor said, “It took hours of detailed preparation to perfect every element of the look – from the outfit and jewelry to the spiritual essence behind it. This is a dream moment I will always cherish.” (IANS)
