Subhash Ghai: Future Belongs To Human Creativity, Not AI

MUMBAI — Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai has shared his perspective on the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, saying that while AI can perform many mental tasks, the future will belong to those who remain connected to human creativity, emotion, and values.

Taking to Instagram, the filmmaker posted a photograph of himself and reflected on the role of technology in society. He stressed the importance of staying connected to art, music, poetry, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.

The director of the acclaimed film ‘Taal’ wrote, “AI Will do most of  the mental tasks for everyone But winner tomorrow will be only those connecting their own souls n human nobility. Emerged in deep sense of music poetry paintings communication collaboration n critical thinking to enrich himself to serve others.”

Ghai has expressed similar views in the past. Last year, while addressing students at Whistling Woods International, the film school he founded, he said AI should serve as a tool rather than a master and urged aspiring creators to focus on developing their creative minds and telling human stories.
