Kailash Kher Recognized By NY Assembly For Promoting Folk Music

NEW YORK, NY – In recognition of his significant contributions to the arts, Kailash Kher was awarded a Proclamation from the New York State Assembly, presented by Democratic Assemblyman David Ira Weprin. The honor acknowledges Kher as an esteemed citizen of New York and celebrates his efforts to promote Indian folk music across the United States.

The Proclamation from the New York State Assembly further amplifies the recognition Kher received when he was honored with the Padma Shri.
