Red Fort Blast Linked To Terror Network, Modi Vows Justice
NEW DELHI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah have vowed that those responsible for the November 10 Red Fort explosion that killed Indian citizens will be brought to justice.
Details emerging from an arms haul involving doctors in Kashmir and a subsequent joint operation in Faridabad — where a large cache of explosives was seized — are now being examined for possible links to the Delhi blast.
Security experts believe that the exposure of these terror modules may have forced the perpetrator of the Red Fort explosion into a panicked, “lone-wolf” strike.
Former National Security Advisory Board member Kulbir Krishan described this as a “plausible explanation,” but questioned what the bomber had been doing in New Delhi for hours before the explosion. “The car is seen entering from the Faridabad border around 8:15 a.m. It appears in multiple security camera recordings before reaching the parking area near a mosque, where it remained for about three hours before the blast,” Krishan said.
Investigators suspect the driver, possibly identified as Umar Nabi, was killed instantly in the explosion. Another theory suggests Nabi may have been acting on instructions from a handler and panicked after the Faridabad raids and media coverage of the terror module.
The chain of events began on October 27, when Srinagar police observed individuals putting up posters supporting Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). One suspect, Adil Ahmed Rather, a senior resident doctor at Government Medical College in Anantnag, was detained along with two other doctors from Saharanpur and Allahabad.
Following Rather’s arrest in Uttar Pradesh on November 6, investigators uncovered a broader network of doctors and clerics operating as local facilitators for JeM and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Acting on intelligence from these arrests, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Haryana Police raided a rented house in Dhauj village, Faridabad, recovering 350 kg of explosives, ammonium nitrate, AK-47 rifles, and ammunition.
Authorities believe these explosives were intended for large-scale attacks and that the Faridabad bust likely averted a series of coordinated explosions targeting major Indian cities, including the national capital.
The Red Fort blast, which killed at least eight people and injured several others, is now being probed as part of this wider transnational terror network. (IANS)

As Hindu Americans, we’re deeply anguished over the lives lost in this barbaric terrorist attack, and deeply concerned for the safety of our friends, family, and other Indians in Delhi and other parts of India. We condemn terrorism in all forms and call for the perpetrators, including any state sponsors or benefactors involved, to face swift justice. If Pakistan’s military establishment and its proxy Jaish-e-Mohammed was in fact responsible for this attack, Pakistan needs to be held accountable and sanctioned by the Trump administration for being a state sponsor of terrorism.”
November 14, 2025HAF has long advocated for the US government to take a tougher stance against Pakistan based on its track record of consistently fomenting terrorism in the region and systematically persecuting its religious minorities.
