NEW DELHI- Raihan Vadra, son of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and businessman Robert Vadra, is engaged to Delhi-based photographer Aviva Baig. The couple has been together for seven years, and both families, who are based in Delhi, are known to share a close relationship.

A NDTV report said Aviva Baig is a photographer and the co-founder of Atelier 11, a photography studio and production company that works with agencies, brands, and clients across India. According to her LinkedIn profile, she studied Journalism and Communication at OP Jindal Global University and completed her schooling in the humanities at Modern School. Her work focuses on everyday life and has been exhibited at platforms including ‘You Cannot Miss This’ with Method Gallery and the India Art Fair Young Collector Program in 2023, ‘The Illusory World ‘at The Quorum Club in 2019, and India Design ID in 2018.

Raihan Vadra, 25, has pursued a career in photography and visual art, diverging from the political path associated with his family. In 2017, during his final year of school, Raihan suffered an eye injury while playing cricket, resulting in vision loss in his left eye and forcing him to step away from photography for nearly two years. He later enrolled at the School of Oriental and African Studies, where he studied politics. He returned to photography while studying, taking up assignments and developing a changed visual approach, the media outlet said.

Raihan held his first solo exhibition, ‘Dark Perception,’ in 2021. The exhibition explored perception and darkness, drawing from his experience of vision loss. This was followed by ‘Anumana’ and ‘Upamana’ which examined ideas of comparison through installations, sound, light, and visual art and forms part of a planned series based on the five pramanas, or schools of logic, in Indian philosophy.
