Oscars: Indian Glam On The Red Carpet

LOS ANGELES, CA – Indian celebrities made striking fashion statements on the red carpet. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, a global celebrity and fashion icon, opted for a clean classic look attired in custom Dior gown, strapless and white, with a structured corset-style bodice flowing into a long skirt with a dramatic thigh-high slit and black-and-white feathered detailing. She paired the dress with diamond and emerald statement necklace and matching earrings.
Several Indian designers were showcased at the Academy Awards with singer Rei Ami in Rahul Mishra, “Sinners” actor Li Jun Li in a red Gaurav Gupta gown, and Zanna Roberts Rassi in Swadesh x Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Bela Bajaria, Netflix Chief Content Officer came dressed in a Manish Malhotra saree.
Indian British actress Charithra Surya Chandran, who played Edwina Sharma on season two of “Bridgerton,” made her Oscars debut walking the red carpet in a stunning emerald gown.
Isha Ambani too made her Oscars debut, elegant in a Valentino gown with floral embroidery.
