India Tricolor Raised At Chapman University, CA

ORANGE, CA – On January 23, Chapman University hosted a celebration of India’s 77th Republic Day, with the Consul General of India in Los Angeles, Dr. K. J. Srinivasa, as chief guest.
Chapman University President Nidhi P. Vogt welcomed business and community leaders to the campus, joined by other university leaders who greeted attendees. The program opened with a pageantry presentation by the Orange High School Color Guard, and Dr. Charu Sinha sang ‘Vande Mataram.’
The Indian national flag was raised by Srinivasa, along with Indian Army veterans Major Gurjeet Singh and Captain Aparna Hande.
Earlier, Chapman University’s Dr. Pradip K. Shukla and Yatri Shukla delivered the welcome address.
