Trump’s ‘Winning’ Video Posted By White House Sparks Mockery

WASHINGTON, DC– The White House has drawn sharp criticism after releasing a one-hour social media video on May 2 consisting entirely of President Donald Trump repeating the word “winning.” The video is captioned “President Trump saying WINNING for 1 hour.”

It comes as more polls have shown a remarkable loss of face for Trump with the voting public.

The post also follows a series of optimistic claims from the administration which in reality has not seen fruition. On April 1, Trump delivered a nationally televised address declaring a “swift, decisive, and overwhelming victory” in the Iran war. In a late-April interview with Fox News, he said the war would end soon and that the United States would win, adding that “hopefully Iran will be smart” and call the U.S. to negotiate.

Public reaction has been largely critical linking the “winning” rhetoric to domestic concerns.
