Donald Trump Jr Does Not Want Haley As Veep

NEW YORK, NY – With buzz over Nikki Haley’s candidacy the talk of her becoming the GOP vice presidential nominee of Donald Trump, who continues to lead in all public opinion polls, has grown but it is not going down well in many circles.

The son, Donald Trump Jr. , has doubled down on not having her on the ticket. “I wouldn’t have her and I would go to great lengths to make sure that that doesn’t happen,” he told Newsmax’s Eric Bolling in a recent interview. “Nikki Haley wants never-ending wars. She’s a puppet of the establishment in Washington, DC. She’s the new favorite candidate of the billionaire class because they want control— no different than academia and Harvard and using their billions to exercise influence,” he said.

Haley’s rise has caught the attention of the former president, who has recently quizzed people outside his campaign for their impressions of Haley, reported Politico. But the opposition to her is real in right-wing circles.

Politico also reported that Steve Bannon, at a conservative conference, said that the GOP hierarchy would try to push Trump to pick Haley, but she embraced “Fox News-laundered neoliberal neocon policies that MAGA finds unacceptable.”

Trump’s allies also recall Haley’s expediency in her relations with him. She backed Marco Rubio in the primaries, then made nice and was named UN ambassador by Trump after he was elected and then with an eye on the polls, exited the role.
