Virat Kohli, Anushka See Djokovic Win At Wimbledon

LONDON- Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, were spotted at Wimbledon 2025, watching Novak Djokovic’s Men’s Round of 16 match against Australia’s Alex de Minaur. The couple, formally dressed, enjoyed the thrilling encounter on Centre Court.

Kohli, who recently retired from Test cricket and last played in IPL 2025, where Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their maiden title, praised Djokovic’s performance. He posted on Instagram, “What a match. It was business as usual for the gladiator. @djokernole.” This marks Kohli’s first public appearance since returning to London with his family after the IPL season.

Djokovic, aiming to equal Roger Federer’s record of eight Wimbledon crowns, overcame a challenging start, losing the opening set 1-6. He then made a strong comeback, winning the subsequent sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. Wind reportedly affected Djokovic’s rhythm in the initial set, leading to early breaks by de Minaur.

Earlier on July 7, eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer also returned to the Royal Box to watch Djokovic’s match.

While the Indian team is currently playing a five-match Test series in the UK against England, Kohli has largely been off social media. However, he recently lauded Shubman Gill’s batting and the leadership of Gill, Mohammed Siraj, and Akashdeep after India’s 336-run victory in the second Test in Birmingham, leveling the series at 1-1.
