Federer, Tendulkar Meet At Wimbledon; Jay Shah Has Photo Op With McEnroe
LONDON – Swiss tennis great Roger Federer and Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar reunited at Wimbledon, with the two sporting icons sharing a warm moment during the tournament.
Tendulkar posted a photograph with Federer on social media and wrote, “Some rallies never end. Our friendship is one of them. Always a pleasure spending time with you, Roger. Until we meet again.”
The meeting was one of the highlights of another memorable visit to the All England Club for Tendulkar, who was among the distinguished guests in the Royal Box on July 10.

India Test captain Shubman Gill also attended Wimbledon as a Royal Box guest, watching a match from the prestigious enclosure for the first time.
Separately, International Cricket Council Chairman Jay Shah had a photo op with American tennis legend John McEnroe on the sidelines of the Wimbledon final.
Sharing a photograph with the former world No. 1, Shah praised McEnroe’s lasting impact on tennis, “A privilege to meet tennis legend John McEnroe on the sidelines of the @Wimbledon Final. An icon of the sport whose passion, personality, and achievements have left an enduring mark on the game of tennis.
