House Of Wanted Terrorist Adil Guree Demolished In Anantnag
ANANTNAG (ANI)- Authorities have demolished the house of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Adil Thokar, also known as Adil Guree, in the Bijbehara block of Anantnag district, officials said on April 25.
Adil Guree, a resident of Guree village, is believed to be involved in the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 peoples. He has since been declared the most-wanted terrorist in the region, with Anantnag Police offering a reward of ₹20 lakh for credible information leading to his arrest. Two Pakistani nationals have also been listed as most wanted in connection with the same case.
Adil had reportedly travelled illegally to Pakistan in 2018, where he received terror training before returning to Jammu and Kashmir last year.
Meanwhile, two security personnel were injured in a gunfight with terrorists in Bandipora district on April 25 morning. According to officials, the encounter broke out in the Kolnar Ajas area after a joint search operation was launched by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police based on specific intelligence inputs.
Nationwide protests continue, with citizens demanding stronger action against Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam attack.
