NEW DELHI, (ANI) – India has firmly rejected China’s baseless and absurd attempts to rename places within the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, stated on May 14 that these maneuvers would not alter the fact that Arunachal Pradesh is, was, and will always be an integral and inalienable part of India.
Responding to media queries regarding China’s renaming efforts, Jaiswal emphasized, “We have noticed that China has persisted with its vain and preposterous attempts to name places in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Consistent with our principled position, we reject such attempts categorically.”
He further added that this “creative naming” would not change the undeniable reality of Arunachal Pradesh’s status as an inseparable part of India.
India has consistently rebuffed China’s unfounded claims to rename Indian territories, reiterating that Arunachal Pradesh is, was, and will always remain an integral and inalienable part of the nation.
