Indian Fashion At MS Gala

LOS ANGELES, CA – The 30th Annual Race to Erase MS Gala was held at the Fairmont Century Plaza on June 4. The star-studded event raised over $ 2 million for the Race to Erase MS for the Center Without Walls program, which is a collaboration of research centers working together with the goal of treating and, ultimately, finding a cure for MS.
Mickey and Vicky Popat, founders of PlantOGram.com, a celebrity-loved Fruit Tree Gifting company walked the red carpet alongside Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross, Denise Richards, and many others. T
The couple said in an email to India-West that they were the first South Asians to have graced the red carpet at the annual event and proudly wear Indian clothes.
Vicky Popat wore a Sabyasachi Benarasi cream color saree and heels by Roberto Cavalli. Mickey Popat came in a custom saffron silk suit by Italian Fashion House Roberto Cavalli and wore sneakers by Brunello Cucinelli.
