
Indiaspora Congratulates Trump, Notes Increasing Involvement Of Indian Americans

WASHINGTON, DC – Indiaspora extended its congratulations to the incoming Trump administration on January 20, just ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the U.S.
The organization highlighted the growing political engagement of the Indian American community, emphasizing its focus on nonpartisan political involvement and noting the increased influence of Indian Americans in U.S. politics since Indiaspora’s founding in 2012.
Indiaspora also acknowledged key appointments in President Trump’s second-term administration, including Harmeet Kaur Dhillon as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice, Vivek Ramaswamy as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), FBI Director nominee Kash Patel, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya as Director of the National Institutes of Health, and Sriram Krishnan as Senior AI Advisor.
