NEW YORK, NY – A transparency group has opened a large-scale exhibit in Manhattan, here, displaying roughly 3.5 million pages of Department of Justice records related to the late Jeffrey Epstein.

The temporary installation, titled “The Donald J.Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room,” has been organized by the Washington-based nonprofit Institute of Primary Facts. The exhibit also includes material on the longstanding relationship between Epstein and President Donald Trump.

According to the organizers, the display contains 3,437 numbered volumes compiling documents released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. “The truth is hard to deny when it’s printed and bound for you to see,” the Institute of Primary Facts states on its website.

The pop- up examines the years-long association between Trump and Epstein. The two reportedly fell out in 2004 following a property dispute, though Trump has appeared multiple times in the released Epstein records. Trump has repeatedly denied wrongdoing.

David Garrett, one of the creators of the project, told Agence France-Presse that the exhibit was designed to help the public better understand corruption and threats to democracy.

Garrett also told AFP he believes there should be “real public outcry” over how the Trump administration handled the release of the files, amid accusations from critics that justice officials sought to conceal Trump’s ties to Epstein.

Public access to the files has been restricted after the DoJ failed to fully redact the identities of some victims named in the documents.

The exhibit remains open to the public through May 21, with registration required for visitors.
