IVF Triplets – Doctor Had Advised Farah Khan To ‘Reduce’ A Baby

NEW DELHI (ANI) – Choreographer-director Farah Khan recently shared her experience of becoming a mother to triplets through IVF in 2008 with her husband Shirish Kunder.

She mentioned that she and Kunder had already picked names for their children before finding out they were expecting triplets.

Khan also discussed the moment she learned about her multiple pregnancies and the tough decision she faced due to her age – 43. Advised by her doctor to consider reducing one child due to risks associated with her age, Khan decided to proceed with all three. She welcomed her triplets – Czar, Anya, and Diva – in 2008. Reflecting on the doctor’s advice, Khan shared that despite concerns, she insisted on carrying all three, and fortunately, they were born healthy, each weighing over two and a half kilos.

Khan said there is playful banter in her household now, with her children teasing her about the doctor’s suggestion to reduce one of them.
