COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (ANI)– Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is set to collaborate with American pop band OneRepublic on their upcoming single Tell Me, produced by Ikky, known for hits like Softly and Jee Ni Lagda.
The collaboration comes as Aujla extends his global recording deal with Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India.
“Working with OneRepublic has been a dream of mine for years, so this collaboration is a big deal. It’s exciting to finally share this news, and I know fans are going to love the song. Returning to Warner feels like coming home. We made my last album the biggest of my career, and I’m ready to make my return even bigger with more surprises in store,” Aujla said.
Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic’s frontman, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I have been obsessed with Indian culture and music since our first show in India. I’ve been looking for the right opportunity to collaborate with local artists, and I couldn’t be more excited about this song and our work with Karan.”
Kristen Burke, President of Warner Music Canada, highlighted Aujla’s global reach, calling him a “generational artist” whose music transcends borders. Jay Mehta, Managing Director of Warner Music India & SAARC, praised Aujla for “constantly evolving and pushing the limits of Punjabi and global music.”
The track Tell Me is set for release on February 27, blending Aujla’s Punjabi roots with OneRepublic’s global pop sound.
