Komall Sheth Brings Elegance To Austin’s Luxury Real Estate
By Bhartti Kumar
AUSTIN, TX — When Komall Sheth arrived in Austin from Mumbai in 2004 with a degree in Interior Design and a suitcase full of dreams, she didn’t expect to become one of the city’s most influential voices in luxury real estate. But two decades later, Sheth isn’t just designing homes — she’s shaping Austin’s high-end housing market, one bespoke property at a time.

Today, her firm Komall Sheth Home is a flourishing luxury real estate and interior design powerhouse, known for million-dollar listings, stunning remodels, and a multicultural flair that feels right at home in the melting pot that is modern Austin. From custom-built homes in West Austin to sleek commercial spaces, Sheth’s signature blend of Indian sensibility and Texas sophistication is in demand.
But it wasn’t always easy.
“When I first came here, I couldn’t even land a job in my field,” Sheth recalls. “So I started with nothing — no connections, no resources — just a passion for design and a willingness to hustle.”
She began slowly, one small design project at a time. A friend’s kitchen. A neighbor’s living room. Her big break came when a remodel she completed was featured in a local home magazine. The phone hasn’t stopped ringing since.
Her company, “Bespoke Interior Design Luxury Real Estate,” has now handled real estate transactions worth over $30 million and bagged more than 25 design awards — including Top Austin Designer of 2025. But for Sheth, the numbers only tell part of the story.
“I love the transformation. Not just of homes, but of people’s lives,” she says. “When someone walks into a house and says, ‘This feels like me’ — that’s the magic.”
Her approach is uniquely holistic. Clients don’t just get a real estate agent or a designer — they get a lifestyle curator. Her team designs and sells the home, renovates it with their own trusted crew of craftsmen, and even offers advice rooted in Feng Shui — something Sheth picked up growing up in India and fine-tuned over years of practice.
That East-meets-West perspective is one of her greatest strengths. “I like to bring a global design language to Austin’s modern tastes,” she explains. “Clean lines with a touch of color, functionality with soul. It’s what people didn’t know they needed — until they see it.”
Sheth’s own roots run deep. A graduate of SNDT University in Mumbai, she credits her Indian upbringing — steeped in aesthetics, hospitality, and hustle — for shaping her work ethic and design eye. “My mother always told me, ‘If you make your home beautiful, your life follows.’ I just took that advice and made it my business.”
Outside of work, Sheth is committed to giving back. Her company regularly donates to local charities, and she mentors young women looking to break into design and real estate — especially those from immigrant or minority backgrounds.
“Being an Indian-American woman in this field wasn’t always easy,” she admits. “But that’s exactly why I want to help others find their footing. We all belong in beautiful spaces — and in the rooms where decisions are made.”
In a city rapidly evolving, Komall Sheth is a reminder that style and success don’t have to come at the expense of identity. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell, or simply dream big, chances are, you’ll find her at the intersection of elegance and hustle — probably with blueprints in one hand and a cup of chai in the other.
