Kumar Sanu remembers composing ‘Saanso Ki Zarurat Hai Jaise’ with 100 musicians
Mumbai, (IANS) The famous singer Kumar Sanu remembers composing the romantic track ‘Saanso Ki Zarurat Hai Jaise’ from the 1990 movie ‘Aashiqui.’ This Movie is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starring A Rahul Roy, and Anu Aggarwal.
After listening to Bidipta Chakraborty’s performance on the popular song from the 1990s, he went down memory lane and revealed that there were 100 musicians onboard when composing ‘Saanso Ki Zarurat Hai Jaise’.
He stated: “Bidipta, you did an excellent job. We had 100 musicians on board when we composed ‘Saanso Ki Zarurat Hai Jaise,’ and hearing the band play today, it sounded the same. Your performance today transported us back to that era.”
The well-known singer, who is known for his many hits such as “Chura Ke Dil Mera” from “Main Khiladi Tu Anari,” “Ladki Badi Anjani Hai” from “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” or “Kurukshetra’s Aap Ka Aana Dil Dhadkana,” among others, graced the singing reality show, “Indian Idol 13,” along with ace singer Anuradha Paudwal.
Anuradha, who has given voice to several popular tracks such as ‘Mujhe Neend Na Aaye’ and ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga,’ also praised Bidipta’s performance, saying that she recreated the 90s era with her singing style.

Kumar Sanu later joined Bidipta on stage during the rendition of ‘Bas Ek Sanam Chahiye’.
Rishi Singh, Bidipta Chakraborty, Debosmita Roy, Senjuti Das, Sonakshi Kar, Chirag Kotwal, Navdeep Wadali, and Shivam Singh were among the top eight contestants who performed on the show.
