LOS ANGELES, CA – The Mata Amritanandamayi Center’s announcement that renowned spiritual leader Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi is scheduled to tour the US from July 4 to August 11, has been greeted with enthusiasm by devotees.

This visit marks Amma’s first international tour since 2019 and features a series of free public programs and spiritual retreats across various American cities.

In the free public programs attendees can participate in guided meditation sessions, engage in spiritual discourses led by Amma and her disciples, and experience bhajans in Amma’s unique call-and-response format. The highlight of these programs is the opportunity for attendees to personally meet Amma and receive her darshan, a profound embrace known for its transformative spiritual impact.

The tour has kicked off in Seattle on July 4 and 5, followed by stops in the San Francisco Bay Area on July 7, 8, and 11, Los Angeles on July 13 and 16, and New Mexico on July 19 and 22. Continuing her journey, Amma will visit Washington, D.C. on July 25, 26, and 29, Boston from July 31 to August 2, New York from August 5 to 7, and concludes in Chicago from August 9 to 11.

In addition to the free public programs, Amma will conduct spiritual retreats designed for deeper immersion and spiritual growth. These retreats span multiple days and include sessions such as intimate question-and-answer opportunities with Amma herself, classes led by her disciples on meditation, bhajans, yoga, and volunteer service activities.

The spiritual retreats will be held in Northern California (San Francisco Bay Area) from July 9 to 11, Southern California (Los Angeles) from July 14 to 16, New Mexico from July 20 to 22, and on the East Coast in Washington, D.C. from July 27 to 29.

Amma, known globally for her humanitarian work and spiritual teachings, has inspired millions through her message of compassion, service, and unconditional love.
